OUR SERVICES

Registration & Licensing
The Council provide Registration and License to Practitioners. The type of registration given depends on qualification level and nationality of practitioners.
Internship Training
The Council supervise and Coordinate Internship Training  to Medical, Dental and Allied health practitioners. Also the council approves health training institutions.
Examination
The Council supervise and coordinate examination  to Medical, Dental and Allied health practitioners before and after internship training. 
CPD
The Council supervise and coordinate Continuing Professional Development(CPD)  to Medical, Dental and Allied health practitioners which help in renewing licenses.
Malpractice Management
The Council have the legal authority and responsibility to monitor professional conduct and take action when a healthcare professional breaks rules, standards, or ethical codes

News & Announcement

EXAMINATION VENUE

Both Pre-Internship and Post-Internship Examinations for approved Medical, Dental and Allied Health candidates, will be held on 15th April 2026. ALL CANDIDATES MUST ATTEND ORIENTATION SESSION ON 14TH APRIL 2026 AT 10:00AM.

There will be two examinations for each cadre, as outlined below:

  1. Medical cadre will have Medical Exam (Internal Medicine and Pediatric) and Surgical  Exam (Surgery disciplines and Obstetrics & Gynaecology)
  2. Dental cadre will have Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Exam and Restorative & Paedodontics Exam
  3. Physiotherapy Cadre will have Paediatric Medicine Exam and Orthopaedic & Musculoskeletal  Exam
  4. Occupational Therapy will have Physical Disability Exam and Mental Health  Exam
  5. Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics  will have Medical Nutrition  Exam and Surgical and Public Health Exam

As shown in the table below:-

Approved applicants should report to their examination venue on  14th of April, 2026 at 10.0AM for orientations and  logistical arrangement. The venues to be used are as follows:

All applicants should go with their examination ID and one of the following ID (National ID, Driving License, NHIF Card, Work ID, Travelling Passport, A signed introductory letter from local government)
