Additional Qualification

A person who is registered, enrolled or enlisted and has acquired an addition qualification related to health matters from a recognized institution, may apply to the Council for recognition of the additional qualification/specialty/super specialty

Requirements to be submitted:-

  1.  Copies of academic certificates(Masters, PHD, Fellowship)
  2. Transcript and Updated CV

Application fees:-

  1. For Registered practitioner(i.e. those with full regitration) - TZS 200,000
  2. For Enrolled practitioner(i.e. those with diploma or advanced diploma) - TZS 100,000
  3. For enlisted practitioner(i.e. those with certificate level) - TZS 50,000
  4. For Foreigners USD 200 

Certificate of Good Standing

This is the registration which is given to practitioners who intend to go to practice outside Tanzania. Therefore, a medical, dental or allied health practitioner who want to go to practice outside Tanzania shall make application to the council.

Requirement:-

  1. Valid registration certificate
  2. Valid practicing license

Application fees :-

  1. For Registered practitioner(i.e. those with full regitration) - TZS 250,000
  2. For Enrolled practitioner(i.e. those with diploma or advanced diploma) - TZS 100,000
  3. For enlisted practitioner(i.e. those with certificate level) - TZS 50,000
  4. For Foreigners USD 150

Certificate of good standing is valid for six months only from the date of issue.
