Remedial Training means training to be undertaken by a person who fails to meet the registration, enrollment or enlistment criteria for more than two times.
A person who fails the examination in the first sitting shall be allowed two more attempts in which upon failure shall be subjected to remedial training
Remedial Training shall be:-
- Undertaken within a period of twelve months from the date of first sitting
- Undertaken in respect of the relevant disciplines in which, in the opinion of the Council, the candidate has proven to possess insufficient or inadequate knowledge and skills
- Undertaken within the internship period in the manner to be determined by the Council
Remedial training for medical, dental or allied health practitioners who are not required to undergo internship training shall be in the manner to be determined by the Council from time to time.
Upon completion of remedial training, a candidate shall be required to submit to the Committee a comprehensive report on the program undertaken before sitting for post examination
